Definitions:

• A shareholder, also referred to as a stockholder.
•  A shareholder is an individual or entity, who legally owns the Company by the number shares owned by them.
• Shareholders are the owners of the company. They buy shares which represent part ownership of a company.
• Ownership is the state or fact of exclusive rights and control over property, which may be an object, land or real estate, or intellectual property.

Immediate Parent Company

An Immediate Parent Company means an entity, which is owning the company directly.

Intermediary Parent Company

An intermediary is a company that is in between the ultimate parent company and the immediate parent company.

Ultimate Parent Company

An ultimate parent company is the final entity which owns the company ultimately, after this there is no other entity owning the company.

There can be a person owning it but not a company.

UBO ( Ultimate Beneficial Owner )

An UBO is a person who ultimately own the company directly or indirectly through intermediary companies.
