Buddha Bhumi hydropower to issue IPO to general public

Buddha bhumi hydropower company limited is all set to issue initial public offering (IPO) to general public. This issue is after first phase of completion to local offering.

Company is going to issue total size of 8,00,000 units to the general public. Out of that 5% are for mutual funds i.e. 40,000 units , 2% are aside for employees of the company i.e. 16,000 units. And remaining 7,44,000 units are purely for general public.

How much you can apply?
A: Minimum 10 units to maximum 50,000 units as per company.

First phase:
First phase was purely for locals project affected area of nuwakote and the issue size was 4,00,000 units. First phase has been already completed.

Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydro Power Company has owned 4.993 MW Hydro Power Project License for Lower Tadi Khola Hydro Power Project, located in Nuwakot District of â€‹central Nepal. 

The headworks area lies about 150 M downstream from the confluence of the Tadi Khola & Chake Khola. The Powerhouse is proposed to be built on the left bank of the alluvium deposit. It is located about 300 M upstream of the headworks of the Aadishakti Hydro Power Plant (5 MW). Alongside our mission of developing the hydropower field in Nepal, we also seek to promote and enable infrastructural development in the communities we work in as well as preserve and protect our environment. The current project is about to complete sooner. 
The Project is at the final stage of development 
with the work completion measurement of around 90%. The development of the project is very well scheduled 
and  targeting to complete by the end of March 2021
 or earlier.
