44 Lakh plus Demat account holders according to CDSC as on today. As per cdsc website there are 44,09,040 Demat account holders available in Nepal. Along with Demat account holders meroshare users also have been increased and there are currently 35,08,613.

According to CDSC website:

Total meroshare : 35,08,613

Total number of licenced depository participates : 81

Total Registered company : 209

Total Registered Bond and Debentures : 51 

Total Registered clearing members : 51

Total Registered DP in meroshare : 81

Total Registered bank in C-ASBA : 55
