Samling Power company limited has issued 7,30,000 ( Seven lakh thirty thousand) IPO ( initial public offering) shares worth of 73,000,000 ( Seven Crore and thirty lakh) with base price of Rs. 100.

Samling Power company limited (SPCL) IPO for locals and project affected area has already been completed in the first phase. This was the second phase of ipo issuing to the general public.

Here are the bifurcation of kittas of 7 lakh 30 thousand.

Total issue unit : 7,30,000 kitta
Employee (2%)  : 14,600 kitta 
Mutual funds ( 5%) : 36,500 kitta
General public : 6,78,900 kitta

About the Samling power company limited: 

Located in the middle reach of Mai River in the Ilam district of the eastern part of Nepal, Mai Beni Hydropower Project is a Run-of-River type hydropower project with an installed capacity of 9.51 MW. The Project is the pilot project of Urja Developers Pvt. Ltd., which embarked on construction in May 2018. The components of the project lie between an elevation of 490m and 645m above mean sea level. All the major components of the project are within a 5km distance from the Mechi highway. The construction of all project components and installation of overall Hydromechanical components and Electromechanical equipment have been completed. Likewise, the testing and commissioning of overall project components have been completed. The trial operation of the power plant is expected to commence by September 2021.
