Definition of Intraday Trading?
- Intraday Trading is also know as Day Trading.
- Buying & Selling stocks in same trading day is called as Intraday Trading.
Lets take a simple example:
ABC company share price opens at Rs. 500 at 11:00 AM.
Mr. Rakesh as a Intra day trader bought 1,000 quantity of ABC company stock at Rs. 500 and after 2 hours ABC stock price increased to Rs. 550.
Mr. Rakesh sells his 1,000 quantity of ABC stock at Rs. 550 as soon as it reached.
Which means He gets profit of Rs. 50 per share i.e. 50,000 earned in a same day.
This is called as Intraday trade or Day Trade.
There will be fee charges on daily basis according to broker and charges might be depends upon total amount of buying and selling stock.
Currently there is no any facility in Nepal Share Market to do Intraday or Day trading. However it may come soon as NEPSE is working on this according to sources.
